Jericho Rosales rightfully sets boundaries
IF Jericho Rosales was not the chatty-type who’d open up about his past relationships, how much more about his marriage?
At an event hosted by a four-year-old beauty products company, Jericho — who was guest performer — was pursued by a nosy reporter who asked him about the real score between him and wife Kim Jones.
There are talks that the couple was going through some rough patch until they decided to end their marriage.
But before he could shed light on the issue, Jericho told the reporter that his wife is doing great.
So what about their reported breakup?
Jericho was gracious enough to even thank the reporter, but sort of dodged the question. In fairness, Jericho has never shared his personal whatnots even with close reporter-friends.
If anyone remembers, he also wasn’t too comfortable about talking his then- relationship with Heart Evangelista, and how intense it was to the point of getting married. But now when Heart appears to be a troubled wife to Senator Chiz Escudero, maybe Jericho might speak his mind, yes, and heart for what it’s worth.
More than discussing about his wife Kim, Jericho would rather talk about — although not completely — how excited he is to be doing a film with Piolo Pascual following their jam-packed USCanada shows together early part of November.
So if Jericho cannot be squeezed to spill the beans about his allegedly stormy marriage, to set the record straight — is he transferring to GMA as reports have it?
Again, the inquisitive reporter who cornered him all the way to his parked vehicle came home empty-handed.
Jericho disappeared in sight with nary an answer.
Well, that was understandably very Jericho.

LITERALLY in the air for a couple of months now, I am wondering why there are still viewers who believe that Jane de Leon is undeserving of the Darna role.
I would forgive RR Enriquez — the self-confessed sawsawera — for her thoughts prior to the airing of the series. In fairness to RR, she had shifted gears when she praised Jane for her looks. But for a single netizen who insists that it’s best if some other newbie portray the iconic role is way too unfair for Jane.
For one, of more than a hundred hopefuls who auditioned for the much-coveted role, it was Jane who got the network’s stamp of approval.
I couldn’t blame Jane if an exceedingly fastidious viewer’s comment got her under her skin.
In a short video clip she posted herself while aboard a car, Jane addressed her basher, “Huwag kang manood kung ayaw mo...bakit, pinipilit ba kitang manood?!“Exactly!
Jane could not have said it better than that.
Suspected to be a GMA’s loyal viewer, the basher’s problem with Jane as Darna could be easily solved.
Stop watching the series or else the basher will only end up getting punched by… Darna!
