Globe corporate data revenue hits record high in Q3

GLOBE Telecoms on Tuesday said their corporate data revenues soared to a new record level of P12.5 billion as of the third quarter of the year, marking a 21-percent increase from the same period last year.

The amount was 31 percent higher than the 2019 prepandemic level of over P9 billion. The company attributed the increase due to the strong traction from information and communications technology services which grew 96 percent year on year.

It noted that the growth from ICT was largely from business application services (BAS), cloud services and data centers. Corporate data revenues were higher by 4 percent compared to last quarter also due to BAS and cloud services.
