FOOTBALL fans can stream this year’s FIFA World Cup live at Bar Rouge, New World Makati Hotel’s newly reopened whisky lounge. Guests can root for their favorite team as they square off in the preliminary matches from November 20 to December 6 with a minimum consumable spend of P600 net, and see them battle it out in the quarter finals all the way to final games from December 9 to 19 for a spend of P1,000 net or more.
The world-renowned sports spectacle held every four years will be hosted in Qatar, with 32 countries officially competing for the championship. It is anticipated to gather millions of live spectators watching 64 matches and more than three billion viewers streaming globally.
At Bar Rouge, guests have a wide selection of premium whiskies and whisky cocktails paired with a curated food menu. Over 60 singlemalt whisky varieties highlighting top-shelf brands from Japan, Taiwan and Scotland are available, as well as signature whisky cocktails — Single Malt Whisky Sour, Sazerac, Perfect Manhattan, Peated Amaretto Sour, Boulevardier, New York Sour, Mint Julep and Old Fashioned.
