Spectators swarm the shoreline of Mansalay Bay on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2022, to watch a boat race held as part of the celebration of the town fiesta from November 21-24. Mansalay Mayor Ferdinand Maliwanag said this year’s event drew participants from as far as Laguna, Batangas, Caluya and Boracay in Antique, and Zamboanga Sibugay in Mindanao.
