BEYOND BORDERS
Dutch Ambassador Marielle Geraedts (in white pants), Belgian Ambassador Michel Parys (in grey pants) and French Ambassador Michele Boccoz (in black knickers) lead cyclists around Intramuros in Manila in a campaign to end violence against women (VAW). Dubbed ‘Share the Road with Her,’ the 18-day campaign started on Friday, Nov. 25, and will end on Dec. 12, 2022. The event is hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Manila, UN Manila and the Pinay bike commuter community. Finnish Ambassador Juha Pyykko and Czech Republic Ambassador Jana Sediva were also part of the group.
