Hyper-personalized employee experience

-

FROM onboarding to development, employees want to feel special and valued. The emerging focus on hyperpersonalized experiences involves putting people at the center of organizational planning to transform the employee journey and lifecycle management, while ensuring improved productivity.

Darwinbox’s cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) platform caters to Human Resources’ (HR) needs across the entire employee lifecycle with newage employee experiences and disruptive AI-powered technology. HR processes are automated from Core transactions (Foundation of employee management), Recruitment, Onboarding, Leave and Attendance, Talent Management Ecosystem, Travel and Expense Management, Rewards and Recognition, Employee Engagement, and six other module-wise features. Employees are engaged and empowered while automating and simplifying all HR processes. I interviewed Jayant Paleti, co-founder of Darwinbox, who talked about the upcoming investment + co-innovation partnership announcement between Microsoft and Darwinbox. This collaboration facilitates true employee enablement by elevating the role of HR in an organization and bringing it to the mainstream, while curating hyper-personalized experiences right up to the last mile employee with the power of AI-driven HR decision-making.

The strategic partnership is a threepart deal that involves Equity Investment, Go-To-Market Partnership and, unlike most other investments from Microsoft, includes an aggressive plan for Product co-innovation and collaboration. Leading Microsoft products and platforms like Office365, Teams, and Dynamics will offer integrated solutions involving Darwinbox’s offerings to compound both ease and value delivered for enterprises and end users alike. “90 percent plus of our customer base is in the Microsoft ecosystem, so all these integrations will elevate the customer experience to the next level, which is what I think gives a product a lot of joy,” remarked Paleti.

Such delight is reflected in a Gartner report that provides a range of benchmarks. Recognized for the first time on the “2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud HCM Suites For 1,000+ Employee Enterprises” and again in 2022, Darwinbox received a rating of 4.8 stars with 365 reviews. Paleti could rave about all the features and benefits of the 14 modules, but the reviews provide more insights. Users that gave a five-star rating remarked that this HCM platform seamlessly integrated as well as automated and streamlined HR from recruitment to retirement on a single platform. Compared to a previous experience of using other HCM platforms, a user said Darwinbox is way ahead of the competition in terms of intuitiveness, simplicity and design. A user liked the deep configuration capabilities. Everything is available in a single portal and is a one-click-away on the mobile app as well. Another commented that “the reception from the employees, once we went live, was the icing on the cake. Typically, during go-lives, there is a lot of unrest from the end users, however, change management was a breeze with this product gaining my highest recommendation.” Another user suggested a couple of areas of development to address the lag in the app, and that tax filing income tax declaration could be more simplified.

Paleti believes that deep integrations and multiple lines of co-innovation between Darwinbox and Microsoft will allow them to deliver a unique and differentiated value proposition to their customers worldwide. Microsoft Azure will be adopted to enhance its HCM SaaS platform. Employee experience will continue to be enhanced and personalized by bringing HR transactions and experiences into the flow of work with Dynamics 365 and Office 365 platforms like Microsoft Teams, Viva and Active Directory. Darwinbox has leveraged Microsoft’s Power Business Intelligence to further augment its AIbased predictive analytics engine, to build rich visual analytics dashboards, helping employees across customer organizations to use data more effectively and power faster business decisions. Strategic product and engineering collaborations between the two companies will amplify innovation around workforce management, payroll management, benefits, talent management and acquisition.

Organizations across the world are dealing with rapidly evolving models of work, extremely volatile talent markets and a need to deliver a hyper-personalized employee experience. In the Philippines, Darwinbox works with leading enterprises, namely JG Summit Holdings (now Gokongwei Group), Maxicare Healthcare, Shakey’s Pizza, Robinsons Bank, Straive, UNO Digital Bank, PLDT, GT Capital Group, Delbros Group, Security Bank, Toyota Motor Philippines, and Radius Telecom, among others.
