Previews the Geometry C EV
SOJITZ G Auto Philippines (SGAP), the exclusive distributor of Geely in the Philippines, has formally introduced its new president and chief executive officer at an intimate gathering held at the Geely North EDSA dealership in Quezon City.
Naoyuki Takeda is Geely Philippines’ third president since it officially entered the Philippine market in September 2019. He took over the reins from Yugo Kiyofuji who was called back to the head office in Tokyo.
Takeda brings with him a wealth of experience in the Philippine automotive industry, being part of Sojitz in different capacities for many years. As part of his most recent assignment, he played a pivotal role at MMPC Auto Financial Services and JACCS Finance Philippines for over six years until 2022. His comprehensive understanding of the various facets of the automotive industry gives him an edge to lead the Geely brand and navigate the challenges and opportunities in the Philippine market.
In his inaugural address, Takeda shared the company’s vision that extends beyond the conventional boundaries of the automotive industry. “Our commitment goes beyond words; it’s evident in the actions we’re taking, the changes we’re making, and the improvements we’re implementing,” he said.
“We are building something significant, and it’s an invitation for each of you to join us in reshaping the automotive landscape,” Takeda added.

The Geometry C has an intelligent and efficient electric drive system, and its high-density battery pack can be charged in 45 minutes using Platinum Super-Fast Charging.
Some of the convenience features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen head unit, AQS Air Ecological Filtration, and heads up display (HUD) projection digital display. It also has an IMAX panoramic sunroof, blade-shaped headlamps, throughtype feather-shaped taillights, flush door handles, and Bose speakers.
