Clark: The place for family bonding
CLARK Development Corp. (CDC) continued to promote the freeport as a premier destination for family bonding.
During the February 19 flagraising ceremony, CDC President and Chief Executive Officer Agnes Devanadera emphasized the importance of green and open spaces, and led efforts to create familyfriendly environments.
“There’s a cost to maintaining our parks, but it’s worth it because then, we can have a brand for the CDC. Let’s have a brand for Clark — that this is the place for family bonding,” Devanadera said.
“I encourage all officials and employees of the CDC to visit Clark and bring your families,” Devanadera added.
With three grandchildren herself, she set an example by taking them to the parks and green spaces around Clark.
The CDC president and CEO underscored the corporation’s commitment to both financial targets and serving surrounding communities.
“With what we earn, it’s only right that we share with the community by making our parks and open spaces accessible to all,” Devanadera continued.
“I would like to request that our security services group open all parking spaces to outsiders, especially on weekends. Our goal is to encourage people to visit here,” Devanadera concluded.
During the February 5 flagraising ceremony, Devanadera launched the Green Office initiative, which required each division to decorate its workspace with indoor plants to promote mental well-being.
Devanadera reiterated the CDC’s commitment to environmental stewardship. This aligned with the goal to promote Clark as a community in which to live, work and play.
