Former LGU executive sworn in as CDC director
SHARON Faye Malapitan-Bautista officially assumed her role as a member of the Clark Development Corp. (CDC) board of directors on March 1, 2024, following a ceremonial oathtaking administered by CDC Chairman Edgardo Pamintuan.
Bautista brings a wealth of experience and a distinguished track record of public service and leadership to her new position.
She has been the founding president of Tao Ang Una, a prominent political party in Caloocan City, since 2015, and has served as chief financial officer of Printek Printworks Corp. since 2012.
Prior to her appointment, Bautista held several key roles, including barangay captain of Barangay 137 in Caloocan City from 2003 to 2013, and district office manager for her father Rep. Oscar Malapitan from 2007 to 2010.
As the chief executive of the barangay, she strived to serve as an ideal public servant with the utmost dedication to duty and good governance.
She paid special attention to the sentiments of the people, down to the grassroots level.
She also served as Legislative Officer 4 in the Office of Sen. Manuel Villar from 2006 to 2007 and gained valuable experience as a field sales officer at Asia United Bank in Caloocan City.
Bautista earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from St. Paul College in Quezon City.
As she assumes her new responsibilities at the CDC, she expresses gratitude for the CDC leadership’s warm welcome and looks forward to leveraging her diverse background and skills.
