Andrea Brillantes’ journey to wellness

- IZA IGLESIAS

ANDREA Brillantes is one of this generation’s top talents. However, the young actress — who started her career at age 7 — found herself grappling with the demanding schedules of showbiz life, often sacrificing precious sleep hours which not only affected her performance but also took a toll on her overall well-being.

“I started working at a very young age so it really affected my sleeping schedule then. I also struggle from time to time with insomnia. I don’t know because sometimes it’s there, sometimes it’s not,” the 21-year-old shared in a media event.

That is until Brillantes found solace in Dear Face’s Beauty Milk Melon, a product she stumbled upon through curiosity and genuine interest in skincare. Drawn to its promise of not just enhancing beauty but also aiding sleep with its collagen-infused formula, Brillantes incorporated it into her nightly routine.

“When I first saw it on my feed, honestly, I got curious and happy because it’s two things that I love. First is milk, I really like drinking it before going to sleep. Secondly, I love things that make me more beautiful. So when I saw it, I was really happy because it’s flavored milk, and it also makes me more beautiful because it has collagen. Many people say that it helps not only in making the skin beautiful and not just as an anti-aging agent, it also helps in sleeping. So I take it before I sleep. So I ordered it, I tried it, it’s delicious,” Brillantes said.

Beauty Milk Melon, a collagen drink formulated by Dear Face, is set to redefine beauty and daily routines with its multifaceted benefits. Packed with natural ingredients, this collagen drink is more than just a beauty supplement; it’s a holistic approach to self-care. By addressing various health concerns, Beauty Milk Melon aims to empower individuals to look and feel their best inside out.

“It’s been a year since I started using it before I was chosen as an endorser. . So I’ve been saying to myself for a long time, I hope they choose me as an endorser because I really use it. And as an endorser, that’s what you really want, to use what you endorse so that it’s more effective and you’re prouder of the product,” Brillantes said.

“Also, for me to save, I buy it like three times a month. So I’m really happy because they’ll be giving me more stock. I really manifested it. So don’t stop manifesting,” she added.

Meanwhile, beyond her latest endorsement, Brillantes is proud to share that she is set to grace the small screen once again with her upcoming show “High Street.” This is the sequel for the hit teen dark drama series “Senior High” where she played dual role of twins Sky and Luna Cruz.

“The characters here are more matured now. I’m sure many are eagerly waiting to find out what happened to Gino (Juan Karlos Labajo), how Roxy and Archie (Xyriel Manabat and Elijah Canlas) are doing, and if all the students from Northford who experienced trauma have moved on. They have a lot to look forward to because there are many new characters,” she teased.

According to her, she has recently been training for Muay Thai as a requirement for the show.

“If you watch Part 2, Sky is always running. I’m really tired of Sky; I hope he just becomes a student again because he’s always running and doing self-defense, so there’s a bit of action,” laughed Brillantes.

“This isn’t my first time doing Muay Thai; I usually do it once a year. I always say I’ll do it again next week or next month, but it never happens. But now, because of the show, and since it’s shouldered by Dreamscape, I’m doing it twice a week,” she added.

Apart from Brillantes, “High Street” stars Juan Karlos Labajo, Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, Elijah Canlas, Daniela Stranner, and with new cast members AC Bonifacio, Harvey Bautista, and Ralph de Leon. It will premiere on May 13 at 9:30 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5 and A2Z.
