Dongfeng Motors PH unveils new management team and exciting lineup
DONGFENG Motors Philippines, a subsidiary of Legado Motors Inc. (LMI), now has a revamped leadership team alongside an impressive lineup of new vehicles. Those were introduced in an event held at the Metrotent Convention Center in Ortigas, Pasig on May 2, 2024, marking A significant milestone for the company.
Leading the charge as the new managing director is industry veteran and lawyer Albert Arcilla, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous role at The Covenant Car Company Inc. Alongside Arcilla, key figures within LMI were also introduced, including chairman Luis “Chavit” Singson, president and chief executive officer (CEO) Wilbert Lim, and deputy CEO Brennan Singson Lim.
In attendance were industry partners Dexter Co and Rachel Villanueva from Autoflare, as well as Jose and Juanita Chua from Dreamcar Unlimited, all part of the Dongfeng Philippines Management Consortium.
Arcilla emphasized the company’s dedication to providing top-notch after-sales service and ensuring parts availability to support Dongfeng vehicle owners.
Wilbert Lim, in his speech, highlighted the brand’s remarkable growth within its six months of operations, with sales performance surpassing expectations, indicating a positive reception from the market toward the Dongfeng brand.
Another highlight of the event was the unveiling of five new models. The new cars include:
– The Nammi, a stylish compact electric vehicle tailored for urban commuting, priced at P1.238 million;
– The Aeolus Mage crossover SUV, equipped with a 13.2-inch super HD Touchscreen Display and powered by the 1.5-liter MachPower turbocharged engine priced at P1.249 million;
– The Rich 7, a rugged pickup truck featuring a 2.3-liter turbo diesel engine, front and rear differential locks, and advanced technology. Prices start from P1.298 million;
– The Forthing U-Tour, an MPV boasting a luxurious yacht-like interior, ample seating, and premium amenities such as captain seats. Available starting at P1.358 million; and
– The MHero, a cutting-edge fully electric SUV inspired by military design, equipped with intelligent off-road capabilities, cockpit design, and an impressive 500-kilometer range. Priced from P6.98 million.
Interested buyers can now view the new models at Dongfeng showrooms located in Pasig, Alabang, Cavite, Marcos Highway, Pampanga and Tarlac.
