This 2019 reinvention of the scent turns it into a sparkling floral musk that is perfect for everyday use. Modern and sophisticated, the new Rose Goldea Blossom Delight represents a girl on the cusp of womanhood, ready to enter a new chapter of her life.
Luckily for Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, the rose happens to be his favorite flower. By capturing the exact moment when a rose’s bud begins to open, he was able to embody the soon-to-be woman the scent represents. “For me, a rose is a powerful elixir of joy and femininity. In this new Rose Goldea Blossom Delight edition, I wanted to capture its full range of natural qualities. I imagined a rose in all its facets in order to create a fragrance that is sparkling, sophisticated, modern and appealing for all women who love this flower,” shares the perfumer.
To evoke this euphoric “coming of age,” Morillas
made use of one of the olfactory world’s most precious: Bulgarian Rose Absolute. The scent opens with the fruity, youthful spirit of violet leaf accord, green papaya accord and jasmine absolute. Afterwards, it reveals a floral blend of rose petal infusion, rosebuds and lily of the valley accord. Finally, it dries down with sensual notes of Bulgarian Rose Absolute, white musk accord and ambergris accord. “The magical flower slowly opens to relinquish its fabulous fragrance,” adds Morillas. Spritzing it on for yourself will instantly make you feel bolder and more positive, ready to face the day ahead with your signature charm.
To celebrate the Rose Goldea Blossom Delight, a regional event took place last June at the Song Eun Gallery in Seoul, the cultural hub of South Korea. From the moment they stepped inside, guests were taken to a beauty wonderland, an interactive space that reminded one to see the beauty in everything. There were a number of stations—from one where you can assemble your own mini bouquet to photo booth stations.
Towards the end of the event, Korean actress Kang Sora graced us with her presence. Known for taking on roles that cover a number of genres such as drama, comedy and musicals, the beauty proves to be an inspiration when it comes to stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Of course, she does this while retaining her femininity as well. Everything about her was reminiscent of Bvlgari’s Rose Goldea Blossom Delight, as even in person, she was girlish and delicate yet spontaneous at the same time. “I never leave home without this scent, since it’s light enough to be worn every day,” she tells the crowd.
True to her words, the Rose Goldea Blossom Delight is not overly in-your-face. It is a subtle, gentle reminder that while keeping your sense of self is important, change isn’t a bad thing.
