THE MOVE UP

It was a little after breaking into the mainstream through a fastfood commercial and his much publicized stint at the talent-cum-reality competition, Pinoy Boyband Superstar, that we first came into contact with Tony Labrusca, you know, the young man who has by now secured a sweet spot in the ever-so temperamental realm of show business. An upand-comer with so much potential, we featured him two years ago for our Best Bodies Special, a comprehensive issue that took into account fitness regimen and lifestyle at an equal plane, and of course, the condition of his temple.
While it may be considered surface level, the draw being the body, there was already more to him than just that. With a conversation that ran a little over the sound bite standard, it became apparent that he had a lot to say, and it was imperative we listen. But as they say, the perfect time will reveal itself at the most perfect, opportune time—and for Tony Labrusca, that time to front the cover of the magazine is now.
With a portfolio that now boasts of movies, several TV series, and endorsements, one of his most prized ones is his Lee partnership, which he holds close to his heart. Celebrating a standout year, as well as marking a milestone with the 130th Anniversary of Lee as a heritage brand, Tony Labrusca is nothing but grateful. Clad in a selection of fall/winter denim pieces, as well as archived collaborations, it was by all indications a perfect fit for both.
Striking a parallel movement, it sure looks like that is not only full steam ahead, but onwards and upwards for the young man.
