THE TRUE GIFT
And just like that, the holidays are upon us again. December can truly be a stressful month for all of us, as we gear ourselves for endless parties, gatherings and gift giving. While some enjoy the art of prepping for these, some of us unfortunately don’t have the leisure of time to be able to do so. Fortunately for us the MEGA team has given us a stylish shortcut—they rounded up the season’s most covetable things that are the perfect presents to give, or to gift yourself even. From fashion trends, accessories, bags and jewelry, to the latest beauty products and treatments to have and try, may you be inspired with all the ideas and tips and make this month a reason to indulge and celebrate because, heck, you deserve it!
This is also the time I reflect on the year that was and remember the highs and lows that had happened. While there are some regrets and what-ifs, the successes still outweigh them. This year we shot in Arizona, did a Making MEGA campaign in New York, threw a MEGA Ball, mounted our annual Fashion Week, produced our very first Beauty Conference, hosted a number of MEGA EXCLUSIVES dinner and shopping events while we did 12-issue print editions, with some months featuring multiple covers. When I think back on the things we aimed to accomplish and endeavors we were able to fulfill I take a deep breath and realize that we have a lot to be thankful for. I personally wouldn’t have been able to do so without the MEGA team and for that, I will always be grateful. I’ve seen the team grow and evolve into very capable, strong and creative individuals whose work and contributions I truy admire and value. I’m also in deep gratitude to all the other departments we work with, as well as our creative contributors and supporters. I realize that in this industry, you need a solid support system to be able to succeed in what you set out to do. To everyone who lent a helping hand, thank you you for making our year a great one. In the same light, I’ve gained new friends and strengthened my relationships with my inner circle—and that for me is truly the real gift. At the end of the day, that is truly what matters.

So whether this year was easy or hard on you, think back and pin these moments, because at the end of the day, I believe we should still be thankful for a lot of things.
