Maggie Wilson-Consunji’s Casa Consunji is a design haven that will reignite one’s passion for creating beautiful spaces

There are a number of things Maggie Wilson-Consunji is known for—entrepreneurship, beauty pageantry, modeling, being an Amazing Race winner— but recently, another area of expertise for the multi-hyphenate has been standing out: interior design.

Casa Consunji, her home store concept that recently celebrated its first anniversary, is an oasis providing one with carefully curated furniture, decor, textiles and sustainable items sourced from Maggie’s favorite travel destinations. The items are from all over the world, such as different areas of the Philippines,

India, Indonesia and Norway. “A home should be a place you wouldn’t want to leave. If should look and feel like a resort or a hotel that you can get away to every day,” she shares when asked about her design philosophy. True enough, stepping inside their doors is a breath of fresh air, with a design aesthetic that they describe as natural modern.

There is so much more to Casa Consunji. In addition to being a store, there is also their design services to help homeowners create beautiful spaces of their own. Together with interior designers Bernie Santos, Parul Shah and Summer Shah, they provide their expertise to create a space that individually suits their clients. Another layer to the experience is their cafe, giving customers time to unwind with their healthy smoothie bowls and specialty coffee.

Maggie shares that this 2020, there will be even more to look forward to, such as plans to open two more branches and collaborating with local artists for limited-edition pieces. It is truly amazing how much Casa Consunji has expanded in just one year, bringing to the spotlight how much design truly matters.
