Cream Silk takes the next step in empowering Filipinas

Over the years, the Filipina has taken major strides when it comes to empowerment. The look and values of the modern Filipina is quite different from the same ideals being touted years before. In fact, one need only to look a the current crop of Cream Silk ambassadors, gorgeous, outstanding and accomplished Filipinas like Miss Universe winners Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray, award-winning actress Nadine Lustre and, of course, Heart Evangelista-Escudero, to understand how far we’ve come.

The magical night was held in Palacio de Memoria, a stately, renovated old mansion along the palm-lined Roxas Boulevard. Guests arrived—all of them dressed in stylish black and white ensembles—and toasted Cream Silk’s latest endeavor to empower Filipinas: a collaboration with Edukasyon.ph, the largest education technology platform in the Philippines. The site offers 15 free online courses from top universities worldwide. The range of topics, which include entrepreneurship, data analytics, creative subjects, were chosen to give as many women the chance to advance their knowledge and move themselves from good to great. The campaign, called #ConditionedForGreater, aims to empower the Filipinas to stride confidently into their desired future.
