WATCH HER THRONE

When we talk about queens we do not mean a side character to the king. When we talk about queens we talk about independence from outside influences. We talk about power that comes from within. Most of the time it revolves around the grandeur of style but in the case of Beatrice Luigi Gomez we see the queen in the quiet assurance in her gait, the sparkling radiance every time she smiles, and the unmatched confidence in her presence. That is what the judges saw as she was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2021.

At the early hours of the morning we find an excited Beatrice in our studio. As a professional model before becoming a beauty queen, she mentions how it has always been a dream to appear inside the pages of MEGA Magazine. This infectious excitement was our driving force during the shoot. Clad in all black pieces that personified different definitions of a queen, she was also swathed in the latest collection of Clash de Cartier pieces that exuded the same fearlessness and subversive elegance of Beatrice. Nine looks and three beauty looks after, she was still up and running even as the hours went by. Her megawatt smile still at a hundred and posture still statuesque as ever, we ended the shoot at a high note. Everyone satisfied of the day’s work but most importantly proud of the transformations that our new Miss Universe representative now embodies as she prepares to fly to Israel for a chance of a lifetime.

We do not know what the future holds but the thing with these new definitions of queens is that win or lose, these women will hold their head up high and choose to move forward with an assurance that no matter what happens a queen will always be defined from within and that’s what we are betting on with Beatrice Luigi Gomez.
