Patty Ang’s newly revamped atelier makes for a splendid private shopping experience, just in time for the holiday party season
PATTY ANG has perfected the formula of creating one-of-a-kind, memorable pieces, from work-toweekend wear to the cutest, sparkly party ensembles. As a brand that is already a cult-favorite among Hollywood A-listers and fashionistas all over the world, Patty Ang has proven to resonate with a lot of stylish women because of its signature style. “I believe our aesthetic of minimalism, streamlined structure, and elegant flashes of glamour is very relatable and entrancing, which is why it effectively appeals to so many people,” shares Patty Ang, designer of the namesake brand. Through the years, the Patty Ang woman has emerged to be a girl with a brilliance that never dulls. “She exudes effortless style and inspires confidence and grace so eternal that it seeps through her clothes,” adds Ang.
Patty Ang’s newest ready-to-wear and custom-made sartorial confections feature impeccable color choices, clean lines, and chic silhouettes. The perfect backdrop? Her newly renovated atelier, of course, which has just recently opened its doors to reveal a bigger and brighter space that truly reflects the Patty Ang brand today. “Our atelier has been remodeled by my dear friend, Vianca Favila, of Empire Designs. We had a few meetings about how I generally want the atelier to look: sleek, clean, and sophisticated. She presented ideas and designs afterwards and I just let her do the work, in which she exceeded all expectations!” muses Ang. “My favorite space in the atelier is my room. It is where everything transpires, from the overall creative process to meeting clients, and eventually, the materialization of the designs.”
The atelier has undoubtedly grown with Patty Ang in her journey as a creative and as a fashion designer. “Through the years, the atelier has improved a lot in terms of size, structure, and aesthetics. I have also moved from one place to another just to accommodate these improvements! Each time, we undergo structural improvements: we acquire new equipment, hire new people. I consider it as a reflection of our growth as a team and my growth as an individual and as an artist.”
Looking forward while creating ripples of change in the fashion industry, Patty Ang has a lot of exciting pieces and collections lined up. “As always, we strive to be better. This is how we stay true to our mission of shaping an empowered and confident clientele through beautiful, impeccably made, and inspiring pieces.”
