NEW APPOINTMENT

CEBU CITY’S premier five-star resort, Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, names Christian Nannucci its new general manager. A native of Florence, Italy, Nannucci brings with him a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry spanning 25 years. His career has taken him to some of the world’s most vibrant cities, including London, Paris, Abu Dhabi, and very recently, Kuala Lumpur. He is fluent in Italian, French, and English.

With an extensive background in hotel operations and sales, Nannucci is well-poised to take on the unique demands of the popular iconic resort. “It is a wonderful opportunity to be based in such a dynamic location in the Philippines, and to be able to manage this award-winning resort,” shares Nannucci. “Cebu is a worldrenowned destination, famed for its beaches, food, and most especially, its people. To call it my new home is a privilege.” He continues, “Together with the rest of the team, I look forward to helping take Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa to farther reaches of success.
