Sunshine Yuchengco Puey, owner of The Larder PUEY DECIDED to open The Larder because she wanted to give small companies, local entrepreneurs, and most especially home cooks and bakers a venue to showcase their products. Being one herself, she knows how difficult it can be to make your creations more visible and accessible. She opened this one-stop gourmet shop in the South that sells everything: frozen meals, whole cakes, dips and spreads, flavored butters, chips, hotdogs, bacon and tapa, and frozen cookie dough. Her own famous burnt butter cookie dough is available there, alongside Nicole Ortega’s cheese pimiento, chicken spread, and hummus; Ginger Teehankee’s cream cheese leche flan and silky chicken liver paté, Berry Tenchavez Stehmeier’s preservative-free hotdogs and sausages, Tippi Tambunting’s bagoong, Grace Baja’s line from Taste by Grace, Karla Reyes’s truffle cream cheese and taba ng talangka cheese spread from her La Petit Fromagerie, RJ Quiroz’s artisanal vinegar, and many more! The shop is located in the basement of Madison Galleries on Don Jesus Boulevard in Alabang. Hours are 10 am to 9 pm daily. Check out their Instagram: @thelarder_ph. PT
