The said tournament eyes 220 registrants for the 18 hole, Stableford, Team, Partner, and Individual categories open to all male and female amateur golfers 26 years old and above.
“We try to contain the number of players because we have so many activities during the game and also, our aim is for the golfers to have fun not be pressure on the game,” said Liloh Evangelista, tournament organizer, during the press conference yesterday at Go Hotels Lanang.
In the previous year, there were more than 250 golfers who attended the same event and although there were no untoward incidents, the organizers deemed to reduce this year’s participants to ensure more fun.
