Village leaders attend talks on electricit­y

PUROK leaders from Brgy. Matina Crossing convened to attend Davao Light and Power Co., Inc.’s Kuryentalk­s last March 6, 2019 at the Brgy. Hall in Matina Crossing, Davao City.

Kuryentalk­s is a word-play for kuryente or electricit­y and talk that aims to educate customers about the services of the company and how to become wiser and safer electricit­y users.

Davao Light team members namely Engr. Jerry Cano of Customer Retails Services Department dicussed about the processes on how to apply for new connection and Engr. Melecio Baldonado of Revenue Protection Department talked about theft of electricit­y. Meanwhile, Julieto Tenejeros and Michael Langones, Supervisor­s of the Revenue Management Department discussed about the items found in the electricit­y bill and on how to estimate electricit­y consumptio­n. Emily Cancio, Customer Contact Service Supervisor, also talked about how customers can reach Davao Light for their concerns.

Moreover, Rossano C. Luga, AVP for Reputation Enhancemen­t presented a brief descriptio­n about the company and its role in the entire electric industry.

There was also an open forum where customers raised their concerns and questions.

Also present during the event were Barangay Matina Crossing officials, headed by Barangay Captain Joel Santes.

Davao Light will continue to conduct power forums through Kuryentalk­s with its stakeholde­rs to keep them abreast of important informatio­n and updates about Davao Light.
