Islamic Relief Philippines, a faith inspired international humanitarian and development organization, is calling for sealed tenders from reputed producers or suppliers for the purchase of 51 heads of live cattle for Qurbani Programme 2019 The cattle to be slaughtered at Qurban must meet the requirements of Qurbani. • Must be fit to be a ‘Qurban’ according to Islamic Shariah. • Minimum age of the Cattle should be no less than one year. • Must be free from any apparent defects that would make them unfit for human consumption. Such defects include: Blindness in both or one eye; Missing limb or limbs; Chronic sickness or disease. • It can be male or female, and must weight 150-180 kilos or beyond • Transported from the marketplace to the Halal slaughterhouse in Barangay Bobong, Cotabato City.
