DCWD advisory

-

THE DAVAO City Water District advised the public of two separate sets of water service interruptions.

First set is on July 27, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. affecting portion of Davao-Agusan Road (from Bunawan Barangay Hall to Lasang), Tambongon, and Bucana.

Water supply has to be temporarily shut off in

the affected areas to give way to the tapping of the newly realigned pipe bridge crossing affected by the bridge widening project of the Department of Public Works and Highways.

Second set is from 9 p.m. of July 31, 2019 until 2 a.m. of Aug. 1, 2019 affecting the entire Lim Street in Toril (including McDonald’s and Gaisano Mall).

Water supply has to be temporarily shut off to give way to the tapping of the newly installed pipeline to DCWD’s existing pipeline for the mainline improvement at the affected area.

On behalf of the DCWD management, general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers and advises them to store enough water prior to the schedules. Water supply may be restored earlier if works go smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.

The general public may visit DCWD website (www.davao-water. gov.ph) and official Facebook page (www.facebook. com/davaowater) or call the Central Information Unit / Call Center through the 24-hour hotline 2353293 (DCWD) and press “4” on their phone dial for the latest daily water updates. They may also contact 0927-7988966, 0925-5113293, and 09084410653 for other updates, complaints, queries, and matters pertaining to DCWD services.
