Sen. Bong Go checks on SEAG hosting preps
“MAGKAISA na tayo bilang bansa at bilang Pilipino,” declared Committee on Sports Chairman and Sen. Christopher ‘Bong’ Go as he led the organizational meeting and briefing for the county’s hosting of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Tuesday at the Senate of the Philippines in Pasay City.
With the games nearing its opening on November 30, the senate hearing was called provide updates on the construction and testing of sports facilities, the current sports program and legislative agenda and support provided by the Philippine Sports Commission and the hosting management of the games by the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee.
