Property firm securing permits for new project

THE CONSUNJI-led DMCI Homes has been in the thick of developing the two-building condominiu­m project at what used to be the New City Commercial Center mall in Maa which was burned in December 2017.

Based on the informatio­n both from the company and the city council, the company has been in the thick of securing its permits for the project, particular­ly the Preliminar­y Approval and Locational Clearance.

“We will provide you with the details of the project once we get the permits,” the company said in an electronic mail.

Based on initial informatio­n from the city council, the company is building two towers with each tower having 30 floors.

It will stand near the mall that will replace the one that was burned and resulted in 39 deaths.

Meanwhile, DMCI Homes told TIMES that as of June, the company sold about P5 billion of its Verdon Parc project.

The company added that its total revenue in June was equivalent to its projected investment for the project, although it did not mention how much it has invested so far.

The amount, which was the value of 1,536 units sold during the period, with about P2 billion from its second building, the 696-unit Belvedere

which it expects to turn over to owners by March next year. Of the total number of units of the second building, 663 were sold, it added.

The project has 2,204 units out of the four buildings with the first building having been completed in January last year.
