GJAPS Pirates share led with Lorejo Farm Experts
DAVAO CITY – GJAPS Pirates bested SMB Pombo Tonzao, 102-100 for its fifth win in seven matches thus now tied with the Lorejo Farm Experts in the team standings of the ongoing UFBC basketball league, Sunday.
Arnel Sabio, Ching Garcia and Jeff Senon had 28, 24 and 14 points, respectively for GJAPS Pirates as they card a 5-2 win-loss record tied with Lorejo Farm Experts in the ongoing elimination round.
MDI Carwash finally entered the win column in seven tries after beating DC Constructions, 78-72 with Harold Malabosa and Ludwig Blanco scoring 25 and 11 baskets, respectively.
Games will resume on August 25 at the Uraya basketball court with the GJAPS Pirates playing next to the Lorejo Farm Experts in the opener at 6 a.m. while SMB Lights battle the MDI Carwash at 7:30 a.m. (Jon Develos)
