3 foreign trade missions set to arrive today: exec
THE DAVAO Region has continued to attract foreign investors as three foreign trade missions are expected to arrive Wednesday.
Arturo M. Milan, Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry president, told TIMES in a text message that those arriving are delegations from
Russia, India and Malaysia.
On the Russian delegation, Milan said; “They want to forge regional cooperation in agriculture, healthcare and science.”
Although he said he does not have the details yet, Milan said the Indian delegation wants to network with the (local) ICT industry.
On the other hand, as announced last week by the Malaysian External Trade Development Corp. 57 executives representing 38 Malaysian companies are arriving in the city to look for business opportunities.
Early this month, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council held an exposition in the city as Taiwanese investors were looking for areas of business collaboration between them and the local investors.
