Rowdy Canadian arrested

A CANADIAN national was arrested in Babak, Island Garden City of Samal after he allegedly punched the father of his live-in partner at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Maj. Eudisan Gultiano, the spokesperson of Police Regional Office XI, identified the suspect as Robert Gary Floyd, 42, a resident

of Sitio Basaw, Barangay Camudmud of the same district.

According to Gultiano, the suspect reportedly became rowdy. He also challenged barangay officials and members of the Civilian Volunteer Organization into a fistfight.

Police officers said the foreigner resisted arrested, forcing them to use necessary force to subdue him.

He is now under the custody of the Babak Police Substation.
