Five nabbed in drug buy-bust
FIVE DRUG suspects were arrested in a police operation in Zone 4, North San Juan. Barangay Centro, Agdao District, at 5:40 a.m. on Thursday.
They were identified as Mariton Baluyot Sanchez, 19, a resident of Santa Maria Dumanlas, Buhangin; Paul John Tenio, jobless; Jauvani Torres Agravante, jobless; Christian Jauve Libaton
Alapag, 24; and Harris Ocon Bendulo, 25, all residents of the area.
Recovered from their possession were one sachet containing alleged shabu with an estimated street value of P15,000, buy-bust money worth P12,000, and a homemade .45 caliber pistol with three bullets. Marcus Malik and Roger Sumagang/
UM Interns … as 2 more fall for same offense
TWO MEN were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Buhangin Police Station along Sarmiento Street, Mercedes Village, Barangay Panacan at 7:57 p.m. on Thursday.
The suspects were identified as Gilbert Oroyan Ancajas, 25, laborer, a resident of Km. 13, Zone 2, Panacan, and Nelson Varquez Alcudia, 24, a resident of Dona Mercedes Subdivision, Panacan.
Authorities recovered six sachets of shabu with a street market value of P3,000, drug paraphernalia, and the marked money from the suspects.
