Team DU34GO top IBP in first friendly match of 2020
SENATOR Christopher Lawrence Go came out waxing hot in his return to the hardcourt leading Team DU34GO past IBP, 91-75, in their basketball friendly match on Friday at the Arcadia Activity Center.
Sen. Go rained with baskets from behind the arc hitting eleven treys as his team pulled off a dominating victory.
The sweet-shooting lawmaker finished the game with 35 points in his return to the basketball court for quite sometime.
Presidential Adviser on Sports and SBP-XI Director Glenn Escandor also showed his shooting prowess with long-bomb shots at all fronts. He made 12 points for Team DU34GO which also got 17 from Malinao.
IBP tried to keep pace with Team DU34GO right from the start behind its patented run and gun type of play.
But Team DU34GO led by Sen Go bombarded IBP with barrage of three pointers midway of the game to break away.
Armand Dioso topscored for IBP with 36 points. Cadiogan had 25.
