Short power interruptions on Feb. 9
DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct short power interruptions on February 9, Sunday, affecting customers in Maa, Tigatto, Mandug, and Indangan areas.
The first set of power interruptions will be necessary to facilitate relocation of poles along Mandug road.
To avoid longer duration of power interruptions, load from the affected lines will be transferred to nearby lines anytime between 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 am.. Normalization or return of load back to its normal set-up will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..
Specifically affected are customers in Juliville Subdivision going to Acacia, including parts of Tigatto, Mandug, Palos Verdes, Indangan and neighboring areas.
Meanwhile, the other set of power interruptions will be necessary to conduct upgrading works and load transfer activities at Maa Substation.
Areas from Star Oil Gasoline Station along Ma-a Road going to Juliville Subdivision via Jade Valley Homes and neighboring areas will experience a 15-minute service disruption anytime between 4:30 a.m.- 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 a.m..
A one-hour power interruption, from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., will affect customers from Davao Light MAA Substation going to Ma-a Crossing and nearby areas.
Moreover, those from Star Oil Gasoline Station along Ma-a Road going to Yniguez Subdivision and to corner Ruby Street. and Circumferential Road via Eden Street and Gold Street in Ma-a and neighboring areas will experience the power outage for 15 minutes anytime between 6:15 a.m. - 6:45 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.- 8:00 a.m..
Customers from Davao Light Maa Substation going to Yniguez Subdivision and to corner Ruby Street and Circumferential Road via Eden Street and Gold Street in Ma-a will also experience a one-hour power outage, which is from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m..
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
