Ex-convict nabbed for illegal drugs

A FORMER detainee was once against arrested in a drug bust conducted by the Tugbok Police Station along Cabantian road in Buhangin District at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.

The suspect was identified as Jesus Junior Soriano Baliad, 39, an accounting staff from Panabo City.

Soriano was under surveillance for quite some time. He was arrested in 2015 for the same offense, but was

released after availing of the plea bargaining proposal of the government.

Confiscated from the suspect were seven sachets of suspected shabu with a street value of P200,000, company ID, and a cellular phone.

The suspect is now detained in the Tugbok Police Station, facing a case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Christy Andrea Petinglay/UM Intern
