town Mayor Nashiba Sumagayan discusses the importance of the Solar-Powered Irrigation Projects in raising the productivity of rice farmers. Farmers can plant twice a year given the irrigation system with expected harvest yield of 12 metric tons per hectare compared to 6 metric tons per year per hectare without the irrigation system.
