What word would you use to describe the modern Filipino woman?

Strong. The modern Filipina is strong-willed and competitive. She strives in achieving goals and takes lead in the community.

What do you love about your city?

The people of Davao make this city so amazing. I love how everyone extends gestures of kindness and finds happiness from the simplest things.

If you had a chance to tour a celebrity in Davao, who would you pick?

I would pick Rihanna and I would take her to Roxas Night Market.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about helping women in my community on health; I helped organize activities that provided health services like family planning and pre-natal screen

ing to them. I also took part in conducting symposiums in schools with the topics on HIV awareness, VAWC, teenage pregnancy and mental health awareness.

What are the best part about being Mutya ng Davao?

I enjoyed dressing up and the photoshoots that came with the job. Putting on looks makes me feel confident and gives me a sense of self-love and appreciation. I think every girl should feel the same.

What fashion accessory/item makes you feel confident every day?

My necklace that has a cross pendant. It was given by my mom and it makes me feel confident knowing I have a small piece of her on my chest.

Which SM store/brand do you like to shop for feel-good looks and outfits?

Forever 21! It is my go-to store for style must haves.

How do you pamper yourself in SM after a long day of work?

I love grabbing a bite from Krispy Kreme and indulging on a drink from Serenitea while taking a seat in the Northwing to enjoy the breeze.
