JCI to build health facility, livelihood

THE JUNIOR Chamber Internatio­nal (JCI) Manila and the JCI Davaoeña Daba Daba plan to build a Medical Center for Peace in Talaingod town, Davao del Norte, to cater to the health needs of the majority indigenous people in the area.

The organizati­on will be in the area on May 16 to 18, 2020. JCI is looking for donors and sponsors to this event. We will be needing For Medical Center for Peace Talaingod, Davao del Norte Project (May 16-18, 2020). They need donors and sponsors for the following medicines: medicine for kids and adults - vaccines for influenza, chicken pox, measles, vitamins, medicine for cough, colds, fever, toothache.

Medical supplies needed are: - disposable gloves, disposable syringe with needle, medical gauze, bandage gauze roll; first aid medical supplies - surgical tape, cotton, alcohol, sanitizers, medicine kit, first aid kit, tongue depressor.

Medical equipment needed are: clinical stethoscop­e, blood pressure monitor, stretcher, hospital bed, nebulizer, surgical suture, catheter, thermomete­r, otoscope, walker, glucose meter, respirator, Assistive cane, Medical scissors, splints, tourniquet­s, medical linens and medical supply cabinets.

Another joint project with JCI Manila and JCI Davao led by Angeli Angliogto, is a building and livelihood project with the assistance of businessma­n Anggie Agliongto in Marawi City.

The projects designed for the Meranaws which they are also looking for sponsors are: barber shop, bakery, water refilling station, convenienc­e sari-sari store, carinderia, eatery, and a tailoring, sewing Shop
