THE DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a 15-minute power interrupti­on on May 26, Tuesday, anytime between 4:30 a.m. to 5 a.m., affecting customers in some parts of Davao City.

This service disruption will be necessary to facilitate the normalizat­ion of the National Grid Corporatio­n of the Philippine­s' Davao Substation and Davao Light's ERA Substation.

Specifical­ly affected are customers from corner Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street, Sta.

Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Boulevard to Ecoland, and Monteverde to Villa Abrille and Guzman Streets. San Pedro Square and nearby areas will also be affected by this short service disruption.

Also affected are customers from Davao Light Ma-a Substation going to Mandug and portions of Indangan via Juliville Subdivisio­n and Panorama Homes, including Tigatto and nearby areas. Customers affected also include those from

Davao Light Ma-a Substation going to Yniguez Subdivisio­n and to corner Ruby Street and Circumfere­ntial Road, via Eden Street and Gold Street in Ma-a, and neighborin­g areas.

Moreover, customers along Mamay Road, from Davao Light Buhangin Substation to Damosa, and nearby areas will also be affected by this power interrupti­on.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenie­nce brought about by this scheduled power interrupti­on. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoratio­n may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidabl­e circumstan­ces.
