Army slams bus bombing

THE JOINT Task Force Central strongly condemned the recent Rural Transit Bus bomb attack that injured six passengers in Parang, Maguindanao on April 24.

JTF Central commander Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy described the attack as an act of cowardice and unprovoked aggression targeting innocent civilians in the middle of the observance of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

According to the report, the Rural Transit Bus with Body No. 107381 was en route to Dipolog City from Cotabato City when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded at the rear portion of the bus.
