• Booster doses safe for all individual­s: CHO

THE CITY Health Office (CHO) has not recorded any deaths of individual­s receiving the booster dose against COVID-19 vaccinatio­ns, reiteratin­g that the vaccines are safe for every eligible person.

The anti-COVID booster shot is an added layer of protection against the severity of existing and new variants.

City COVID-19 Task Force Spokespers­on Dr. Michelle Schlosser previously said that like other vaccines with boosters against diseases the COVID-19 vaccine also needs one for peace of mind even when there are new variants of the virus.
