LBP’s bank on wheels in Santo Tomas
THE LAND Bank of the Philippines rolled out its first-ever mobile banking facility “Bank on Wheels” on April 25 in Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.
In the information posted on the official Facebook page of the municipal government of Santo Tomas, the LBP’s “Bank on Wheels” program will offer full banking services to Tomasinos from April 25 to 29, 2022 — a weeklong service where a mobile van facility will be parked at the municipal covered court from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
With the deployment of LBP’s bank on wheels, Tomasinos can open an account, do balance inquiries, withdrawals over the counter, fund transfers, cash deposits over the counter, full ATM services, and enrollment to electronic or mobile banking via iAccess.
The requirements needed by the public to avail of transactions are only two valid government-issued identification cards.
On April 24, Mayor Ernesto Evangelista and municipal administrator Elisa Evangelista met Rick Venus, Leaf marketing specialist, Davee Christian A. Sasedor, branch services officer, Porscha Y. Sungahid, and Richard G. Guerrero, customer associates for assistance, to discuss the LBP’s bank on wheels program.
