It was Dyan Joyce Bian-Cortez who told the guests on the subject matter of the International Baccalaureate (IB). “The IB is a global leader in international education. It develops inquiring, knowledgeable, confident, and caring young people. IB programs empower school-aged students to take ownership of their own learning and help them develop futureready skills to make a difference and thrive in a world that changes fast…With over 5,000 IB World Schools worldwide, the global school community has an international reputation for excellence and quality. As a premier educational institution in Davao City, the SAIS leads the way as the first and the only IB World School Candidate in Mindanao…Being an IB World School Candidate means academic excellence through a rigorous program---challenging instruction that develops internationally-minded students who take action to create positive change.”

“In line with our vision, the SAIS aspires to be the premier institution for excellent international education while nurturing and developing global leaders. We pride ourselves for being the only and truly international school in our beloved Davao City and in the Mindanao region offering early childhood and primary years program. That is from six months old to Kinder to Grade 12. We do have the expertise, the right partners, and the learning community to support our goals. Here in SAIS, we are proud to have a diverse and international body of students and faculty. Our student body is comprised of 26 different nationalities that provide students with rich cultural exchanges. We have international partners such as the Fieldwork Education U.K. and the International Schools Association Switzerland. The learning opportunities that our students have are of international standards that will allow them to become global leaders in the classroom and beyond the school in their future lives…We have developed a Senior High School Grade 11-12 program that will prepare students to become entrepreneurs as young as 16-18 years of age. We have the program that will arm them with the knowledge and skills that they need to start their own businesses at a young age…Our program known as the NANO-MBA program will teach our students to become entrepreneurs and be business-minded. It will be the developing grounds for new and innovative business ideas that will further create value and impact our community positively. We can change the world by educating young global business leaders that starts right here at the Stockbridge American International School,” asserted Nicole Bian-Ledesma with utmost confidence.

By 6:30 pm, the Bian family welcomed a huge number of guests to the Six-Eleven Global Services’ grandest event, the Kick Off Party 2024 with the theme, “Extra Mile,” the motto of Six-Eleven itself.
