Rainu, Jonessa Espiritu, Joe Paras, Gypsy Casurao, and Dr. Reynaldo Rojo. Invited to sit as judges in the four hour long school pageant were Christopher Ledesma, Sven Toune, Kenny Ladaga, Sittie Aisha Hadjisalim, Agot Serrano, Arvin Ian Itao with Michael E. Dakudao as Chairman of the Board of Judges.

In her speech, the school’s founder Hon. Consul Purita Arsenia “Joji” Ilagan Bian reiterated the purpose of the school’s pageant, “This school pageant gives additional skills that the candidates will find useful and beneficial in their life. Competing gives them confidence, develops their social skills, poise and personality and challenges their minds to think fast. In this pageant there are many different values that they can learn from and use to improve themselves in their chosen path careers in the future.”

On the other hand, Director Randy Roldan B. Lanozo reminded everybody that the gathering that special day was not only to celebrate beauty and grace but also to honor the embodiment of the core values that define the spirit of the JIB International Schools as an institution. “It is PRIDE that sets us apart. Passion that ignites the flame within us to pursue our dreams with unwavering dedication. Respect that forms the cornerstone of our community. Integrity is the glue that binds us together. Dynamism that is the force that propels us into the future. And Excellence which is the benchmark by which we measure ourselves…May today’s event inspire us all to cultivate these values not only within the confines of this stage but in every aspect of our lives.”

The 10 male and 10 female candidates appeared on stage wearing their school uniform, then changed into their casual denim jeans attire. They then wowed the audience with their choice of colorful cultural attire, and lastly, did their catwalk looking elegant in formal outfits for which they were evaluated according to their gracefulness, poise and bearing; overall performance; stage presence; and appropriateness. Indeed, the loud cheers from the audience was deafening as the candidates appeared mightily on stage to be judged for the Best in Uniform, Best in Jeans, Best in Cultural Attire, and Best in Formal Wear. Personally speaking, it was the Q&A portion which proved to be the most crucial part of the pageant. It was in this category that the candidates were given the opportunity to articulate their thoughts, express their opinion, and showcase their intelligence and communication skills. It was the Q&A which made the assessment of the candidates by the judges easier.

The standouts among the candidates were Edyl Kyle E. Banaag and Kissha Joy M. Casabuena who won the title of Mr.&Ms. JIB International 2024. Edrian Mel Enrik F. Cosio and Mirasol O. Amparo were declared Mr.&Ms. JIB Tourism; while Hayder Orita and April Mae B. Mondejar were crowned as Mr.&Ms. JIB Culture and Arts.

Congratulations to all the winners and the candidates who participated. Congratulations JIB International Schools. Thank you to all the sponsors.
