LANBANK ....

-

authorized to accept cashin or deposit to LandBank accounts; cash-out using LandBank ATM cards and other selected Bancnetmember ATM cards; fund transfers; and water and electricity bill payments.

On top of these banking services brought right at the grassroots levels, Cudal cited the program as helpful to small farmers, fisherfolk, rural-based government employees, students, and most of all, to Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries who would no longer be spending time and money going to rural or urban centers to either deposit or withdraw money and cash benefits.

“Para naman sa LANDBANKasama partners natin, makakatulong ang programa bilang karagdagang source ng kita. At bukod diyan, makakatulong rin sila sa pag-unlad ng kani-kanilang mga komunidad (To our LANDBANKasama Partners, the program serves as their source of additional income. Aside from that, they are also helping improve their respective communities),” she explained.

On the other hand, LandBank is also rolling out the LANDBANK PISO Plus, which is a basic deposit account that can be opened using the LandBank Mobile Banking Application.

Cudal said that this type of LandBank account requires no initial deposit and no maintaining balance.

The LANDBANK PISO Plus account is allowed for customers 18 years of age and older.

With just an internet connection and a smartphone, they can just download the LankBank Mobile Banking App or MBA to find the link to open a LANDBANK PISO Plus account.

“Di na kailangan nilang magpunta kung saan mang LandBank branch (You don’t need to visit any LandBank branch),” Cudal said.

The LANDBANK PISO Plus customers would then have a virtual Visa debit card, as well as access to the digital banking services of LandBank, such as fund transfers, bill payments, and card-less withdrawals, using the LandBank Mobile Banking App.

She, however, made it clear that PISO Plus account holders can still have the option to own a tangible LandBank card that they can get from LandBank branches for P150.

“Makakaasa po kayong lalong pagbubutihin ng LandBank ang aming serbisyo para sa inyong mga pangangailangang pampinansyal (You can count on LandBank to continually improve its banking services for your financial needs),” Cudal said. (JMDA/PIA Davao del Norte)
