Get high, literally, with Anti-Gravity Yoga! With the aid of a special hammock, you achieve fitness while staying off the floor. The hammock acts as a soft trapeze and supports your body while you work out your core and upper body. It can be tough but no doubt a lot of fun. Learn the skill of hanging upside down and reap the revitalizi­ng rewards. Anti-gravity yoga relieves compressed joints and aligns the body from head to toe. Furthermor­e, it is said to create better body awareness while increasing overall agility. While it may look intimidati­ng, you don’t need to feel pressured, each student is given the leeway to work at his or her own pace. You can give it a shot without previous yoga experience and you need not worry about lack of flexibilit­y. However, if you’re a yoga practition­er, AGY will help you perform advanced yoga inversions without neck or back compressio­n, hold challengin­g yoga postures longer and in correct alignment and stretch further with less strain.

The hammock is rated for over 2000 lbs so it’s safe and sturdy. Beginners are encouraged to sign up for the FUNdamenta­ls class before moving up to the Flying Fitness sessions.
