I must admit, excitement grew stronger as I anticipated my review day at Vivere Salon. The salon has had a reputation for its talented hair stylists—noted for its ability to give life to hair with just a simple cut. Having it been a while since my last haircut, I was thrilled to get a first-hand experience.
I arrived an hour too early at the salon due to my excitement. Despite this, I was seated comfortably in one of the salon’s chairs with an iced tea served by the accommodating staff. I was able to appreciate the modern, sleek, and stylish interiors of the salon. The design wasn’t anything too fancy but the pristine floors, the floorto-ceiling mirrors, and the minimalistic chairs made everything look luxurious. Unlike other salons, it was very warm, welcome, and not at all intimidating.
The stylist, Hector, came to my side to assess my hair—it was long, dry, and had outgrown its previous ombre color. I knew my hair needed serious work but he remained optimistic; relaying his recommendations for my hair. He started out by chopping the dry parts of my locks and left me with a long bob. Cuts at Vivere Salon range from P350 - P550 depending on the stylist—very affordable considering the service you’re going to get. My hair instantly had body again, and without all the brittle strands, it looked much healthier. He then continued to tackle my hair color—achieving one even shade. What I love most about his recommended color was the fact that it completely suited by skin tone; bringing out the rosiness of my skin. He even added subtle highlights to add depth. The price of permanent hair color starts at P1,200, whether you’re getting a retouch or a complete color change. After some much needed leave on treatment, my hair was completely transformed from dull and dry to luscious and bouncy. Plus, the style is perfect for a working mom like me.
