As the Christ­mas sea­son ap­proaches and Palawenos be­gin to get busy with the hol­i­day rush, BINHI, a plas­tic-free and or­ganic week­end mar­ket, is set to launch an­other run of con­scious and mind­ful shop­ping ex­pe­ri­ence.

In part­ner­ship with Can­vas Bou­tique Ho­tel, BINHI HOL­I­DAY MAR­KET, will be open on Novem­ber 17-18, Novem­ber 24-25, De­cem­ber 8-9 and De­cem­ber 15-16.

Shop­pers can ex­pect a whole­some se­lec­tion of homemade goods from bread, cook­ies, pas­tries, hot sauce and lo­cal del­i­ca­cies by brands like Tan-tan’s Seafood, Malic of Man­goods, Pies & Pans Pas­tries by Coky­roms, Sa­bie Bakes, Maldita and many more.

Get to know your lo­cal farm­ers as you shop fresh or­ganic pro­duce from farms like Javenri Har­vest Farms that also of­fer freerange eggs; Agriberde that is known for their homemade jams and fruit wines; Palawan Mush­room Grow­ers As­so­ci­a­tion, ECLOF Life Farm, Ya­mang Bukid and more.

Art­works and care­fully hand­crafted items will be avail­able as brands like Sirena Filip­ina and Obra Padud­ing, both com­ing from El Nido, show­case their cro­cheted items and brass jew­el­ries. Face paint­ing, live por­trait sketch­ing and dif­fer­ent arts & crafts ac­tiv­i­ties will also be hosted by Art on the Move. More unique items that will also be show­cased are cal­lig­ra­phy and wa­ter­color art­works by Mi­amor­pho­sis, col­or­ful dis­play of Macrame dé­cor by Qsin­era, and or­ganic cot­ton shirts and or­a­cle cards by Di­wata Man­dala.

A health­ier and eco-friendly hol­i­days is made pos­si­ble by mer­chants like AraPi­lak with their zero waste essen­tials, Es­sen­tial Oils from EvOILu­tion, Raw snacks from Ba­hay Kali­pay, and Raw honey from Best Honey PH.

En­light­en­ing talks and prac­ti­cal work­shops will also be ac­ces­si­ble dur­ing the mar­ket - list of ac­tiv­i­ties are re­leased a week be­fore the sched­uled mar­ket date. The nights will be filled with mu­sic and movies to add on to the fes­tiv­i­ties.
