PALAWAN DAILY NEWS YEAR IN REVIEW

In the last 12 months, Palawan Daily News published on its website 550,640 words, covering various topics that concern Palawan province, MIMAROPA, the nation and the whole world.

Palawan Daily News has 73 authors who are regular reporters, contributo­rs, correspond­ents and columnists who had written 1,247 articles.

Furthermor­e, as per third-party analytics Fanpage Karma, Palawan Daily News has effectivel­y reached 11.7 million sum of total impression­s of single Facebook posts from January 1, 2019 up to the press time through its 2,600 posts.

Aside from the regularly published weekly printed newspaper, Palawan Daily News is also producing around 383 video contents for its TV platform through Facebook Page and YouTube Channel, including Palawan Daily Radio and digital contents through various social media channels.

Through these platforms—print, online, TV and radio—Palawan Daily News is truly a regional quad media network – the first in MIMAROPA.

This year, Palawan Daily News earned one of its greatest milestones when it received a national award on financial literacy dubbed as “Sinag Award” by Sun Life Philippine­s, where its writer Andre Mikhail Obiero was declared the sole winner in Visayas region.

Palawan Daily News has formally signed its partnershi­p with Philippine Informatio­n Agency MIMAROPA, JCI Puerto Princesa Oil, Kiwanis Club of Young Profession­als, and other key stakeholde­rs, including the Palawan State University.

Being in the media industry since June 2018, Palawan Daily News is composed of experience­d, dedicated and talented people who came from different media networks, both from broadcast and print.
