BAYRON STILL GETS JCA BACKING
Palawan Governor Jose Chaves Alvarez is supporting the re-election bid of Puerto Princesa Mayor Lucilo Bayron. Alvarez said Bayron, however, should keep his promise to implement the road widening in connection with the six-lane superhighway, the construction of a state-of-the-art hospital, the city’s own water
system, stabilization of electricity supply, and provisions of more livelihood initiatives to address poverty. Pati ang tubig,” Alvarez said shortly after he filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on October 15. Bayron and his Kuridas team promised to implement these projects during the 2016 elections, he said. In a separate interview, Bayron said he respects the decision of the governor and will finish the projects if he is re-elected to serve his last term.
