It's a Feliciano vs Leoncio battle in Brooke's Point in 2019

Incumbent Mayor Mary Jean Feliciano will have a challenger in Dr. Narciso Leoncio for the mayoralty seat of Brooke’s Point town in the 2019 elections. Feliciano will be seeking reelection under the Partidong Pagbabago ng Palawan (PPP) while Leoncio is running under the Partido Pederal ng Pilipinas (PPP). Feliciano told Palawan News that her bid for reelection for her last term will focus on being “a servant of God to protect the environment of Brooke’s Point for the benefit of the next generations.” She said her last term will push for Brooke’s Point’s development without harming its environment. “Kung di ako tatayo, sino ang maninindigan para sa kalikasan? Alam naman natin na ito ang source ng ikinabubuhay ng mga taga-Brooke’s Point, kaya gusto kong ipagpatuloy ang maganda nating nasimulan,” Feliciano said. Leoncio, on the other hand did not issue any statement when he filed his candidacy.
