The Palawan Provincial Board called on the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) to attend its regular session to report the status of the heavy equipment that the provincial government purchased. In a privilege speech, Board Member David Francis Ponce de Leon, said Tuesday its been a long time since the provincial government purchased the heavy equipment. De Leon said he did not see the equipment, especially in the towns that comprised the Cala- mian Islands Group. “Gusto natin malaman kung nasaan na, ilan ang gumagana o ilan ang nasira dahil bibihira na natin makita lalo na sa Calamian,” he said. He said the PEO should provide accurate data and documents regarding the equipment. “Hopefully, they give us a datasheet o papers para hindi lang through salita para makita natin ang status ng ating equipment,” Ponce de Leon said. The PEO was requested to appear before the committee on transportation to report the status of the equipment next week.
